As you might imagine, there are not large numbers of existing pastors lining up to plant churches in the poorest communities in the world. Since this is indeed our vision, and we desire our church plants among the global poor to be led by people who can identify with these communities, it is imperative that we train church planters.

As part of our ongoing expansion in Southeast Asia, we are currently training 35 church planters and pastors in Cambodia. Some of them are already leading a church but the majority are not. They will become a pool of equipped leaders for our comprehensive church planting efforts in Cambodia, a country that is only 1% Christian and the 7th poorest nation in Asia.

It costs $72 annually to train one Cambodian church planter. Will you help change lives by committing to train a church planter in Cambodia? Your investment will allow us to be catalysts for a comprehensive church planting movement among the poor in Cambodia. If you cannot invest the full amount consider providing 6 months for $36 or 3 months for $18. If you prefer you can give $6 monthly and ensure that one Cambodian church planter receives ongoing training!

When Patrick in Bárbara launched Living Bread Ministries in 2004 they had to embrace poverty. For several years their family lived well below the poverty level, diverting everything they could into sparking a church planting movement among the global poor. This is the encouraging story of how the Lord sustained them and ultimately established our comprehensive church planting ministries in South America and Southeast Asia.

Thank you!
