The goal of each of our church plants is to impact the community in a comprehensive way. This includes ministries that provide assistance in areas like food, clothing, education, in addition to worship services and discipleship. When a church begins, the most effective way to begin impacting the needs of the community is to rent a local space that is easily accessible. As the church becomes more established it is helpful to have a permanent location. This frees up the monthly finances required for rent and allows Living Bread to invest that money in other church planting efforts. It also gives our local church bodies the opportunity to become more sustainable. The cost of maintaining a building is more affordable than a monthly rent expense. We have built multiple buildings over the years and each of these churches maintains them on their own.
We have seen a very positive impact at our locations where we have invested in a property. These local bodies of believers have utilized the buildings in ways that bless their communities on a daily basis. As a result, we would like to establish a building fund that will allow us to purchase property and or build as opportunities become available.
If you would like to help us set up a building fund you can contribute here.
