Once again, we carried out the Share Christmas project in Brazil. For nearly twenty years we have provided school and hygiene supplies to children in the communities we serve. This work is funded by our partners in the US and Brazil and carried out by our church plants. We also provide simple toys for the smaller children and food kits for the families. This year we served 10 communities and provided school and hygiene supplies for 425 children. We will also continue to help these students throughout the school year as they have needs.
The gifts were distributed at evangelistic services leading up to and just after Christmas. We love that Share Christmas equips our church plants to be the hero in their own community. Equipping them to do tangible ministry among their neighbors is an important part of making disciples. We want to thank everyone that partnered with us to make Share Christmas a success!
