Our ministry partners in Thailand continue to work hard to meet needs in their community, develop relationships with intentionality, and teach valuable skills. One of their current projects (pictured to the right) is learning and practicing sustainable farming practices. Church members are working together to build a suitable place to grow organic vegetables and share their produce. This project builds community among the people and teaches valuable life skills along with producing a helpful commodity.
Another important work within the church is outreach and building relationships with those outside the church body. Members of the evangelism team recently visited a woman with polio and her nephew (pictured below). She received Christ and is now being discipled. Praise the Lord for the life change we are seeing as a result of the faithfulness of God’s people!
The four women pictured on the bottom left are from a country that is closed to the gospel. They are in Thailand working in a factory. One woman is a believer, and she brought her coworkers to visit with Aun. After hearing the gospel and asking many questions, the three women received Christ! What an exciting opportunity for us to be able to spread the good news of Christ to a country that would not otherwise have an opportunity to hear.

Other recent projects include a mass Bible distribution of 100,000 Bibles in southern Thailand in partnership with the Gideons and repairing a house that was damaged in the flooding last year. The homeowner is the mother of one of the church members. The local community also joined the church in doing the work.
We are also looking forward to taking our first short term team to Thailand this year! Bárbara will be leading a group from one of our supporting churches to serve and build relationships with our ministry partners there.
