On June 15th, our staff writer Aleah and I will be heading to Porto Alegre, Capão da Canoa, and Torres, Brazil. The purpose of our trip is two-fold: to encourage our pastors and their families and for Aleah to get to know our works firsthand. We will be visiting each church plant and community, serving alongside the churches, and worshiping with them. We will also be taking some much-needed winter items donated by many friends and supporters.
Please be in prayer for our trip as we will be leaving our husbands and families to enjoy the first few weeks of summer on their own. Pray also for the city of Porto Alegre, the state of Rio Grande do Sul, and Brazil as a country. They are facing some uncertain times filled with the political upheaval and economic uncertainty. It is our prayer that the Lord will use us to encourage our pastors and staff.
